1. How to Install and Setup the Scarlett Integration

Introduction

This article describes how to install and setup the Scarlett extension in your BluMortgage CRM. If these steps are already complete, you can learn how to use the Scarlett integration in this article.

How to Use: Mandatory Actions

[Step 1]: Install the Scarlett Extension

The first step is to install the Scarlett Extension to your BluMortgage Account:
  1. Open your BluMortgage CRM Account:
    1. Your login would have been provided to you in an email
    2. Have this open in one tab, then open a new tab
  2. In the new tab, copy and paste this link into the URL, and hit Enter
  3. Agree to the terms of service of using this extension:
    1. Check both boxes and hit "Next"
    2. Allow all users to access this extension
    3. Wait for the installation loading screen to complete
  4. On the next screen click on "Connect":
    1. Select "BluMortgage CRM" > Click "Submit" > Click "Accept"
  5. Insert the following information:
    1. Scarlett Firm Code Username - If your file number is BLURx1234, then BLUR is your firm code.
    2. Scarlett API Key 
      1. Log into your Scarlett Mortgage account
      2. Click on the (⚙️) icon
        1. Select "API Accesss" > Click the "Create API Key" button
      3. Insert API Key Name and select all of the 4 checkboxes 
      4. Select the "Agents" that will be pulling deals from Scarlett
      5. Click the "Ok" button to generate the API Key
  6. After the above information has been added to the extension, the installation will be completed.

[Step 2]: How to Retrieve a Zapier API Key from Scarlett

On the Settings page, there is a button to retrieve a Zapier API key from Scarlett Mortgage. Below are the steps to retrieve the Zapier API key:
  1. Log into your Scarlett Mortgage account
  2. Click on the Settings (⚙️) icon
    1. Select "Zapier" 
  3. Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button 
  4. Copy the API Key provided and email the BluMortgage Support team at support@bluroot.ca to complete integration

[Step 3]: How to Retrieve your WebHook

On the Scarlett Integration page in BluMortgage, there is a field called "Webhook URL". The support team will need the Webhook URL to set up your automatic connection from Scarlett to BluMortgage. Below are the steps to retrieve the Webhook URL:
  1. Open your BluMortgage CRM
  2. Click on the Marketplace (house) icon in the top right > Click on Installed
  3. Navigate to the Scarlett Integration > Click Settings 
  4. Copy the URL in the Webhook URL field and email the BluMortgage Support team at support@bluroot.ca to complete integration
