How to Enable SMTP Authentication in GoDaddy Email

Follow the steps below if your email domain is hosted with GoDaddy and you’re experiencing SMTP authentication errors during the email integration process:
  1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard using your GoDaddy credentials.
  2. Click Manage next to the user.
  3. Scroll down to Account Information and open Advanced Settings.

  4. Enable the SMTP Authentication toggle.

  5. Click Continue to confirm the change.
  6. Allow a few minutes for the update to fully propagate across your GoDaddy-hosted email.
