How to Setup and Use the Finmo Integration (Full Guide)

Overview

This guide explains how to:

  • Install and connect Finmo to BluMortgage CRM
  • Configure API and webhooks
  • Import deals using the new “Pull from Finmo” workflow

Once setup is complete, you can easily sync and import deals directly from Finmo without manual file uploads.

Notes
Step 1: Install the Finmo Extension

  1. Open your BluMortgage CRM
  2. Open the Finmo installation link (click on the marketplace icon and go to Installed, you'll find the extension) 
  3. Accept the terms:
    • Check both boxes
    • Click “Next”
  4. Allow access:
    • Select Allow all users
  5. Wait for installation to complete
  6. Click:
    • Connect → Submit → Accept

Configure Owner Mapping (Important)

This ensures that deals from Finmo are assigned to the correct users in BluMortgage.

  1. Go to:
    • Settings → Marketplace → Installed → Finmo Settings (check this GIFF.)
  2. Click:
    • User Settings
  3. For each CRM user:
    • Select the corresponding Finmo user

💡 How it works:

  • If a deal in Finmo is owned by User A, it will be assigned to the mapped user in BluMortgage

Step 2: Connect Your Finmo Account (API Key)

  1. Open your Finmo account
  2. Go to:
    • Home → Finmo → ⚙️ Settings → Integrations
  3. Click:
    • Finmo API → Generate New Token
  4. Copy the token

Now in BluMortgage:

  1. Go to:
    • Finmo Extension Settings
  2. Click:
    • User Settings → Select your user
  3. Paste the token into:
    • Finmo API Key
  4. Click Save

Step 3: Configure Webhooks (Zapier Token)

  1. In Finmo Settings:
    • Go to Integrations → Zapier
  2. Click:
    • Generate New Token
  3. Copy the token

Now in BluMortgage:

  1. Paste it into the Zapier/Webhooks section

✅ Important:
When setup is complete, you will see 5 green checkmarks — this confirms everything is properly connected.

Step 4: Import Deals from Finmo 

No more reports or manual imports needed.

To import deals:

  1. Go to: Borrowers or Mortgages
  2. Click: “Pull from Finmo” 
  1. Click “Auto-Import”
  2. The system will:
    • Automatically list available deals from Finmo
    • Allow you to select and import them instantly


Option 2: Manual Import

  1. Enter: Finmo Application Number(s) (or add multiple deals using the + button)
  2. Click Submit

The system will:
  • Create or update the deal
  • Sync borrower + mortgage data automatically

Info
Automatic Sync (Background Updates)

Finmo will automatically push updates to BluMortgage when these events happen:

  • Deal created
  • Deal submitted
  • Borrower submission
  • Lender response
  • Deal updated

You can still use “Pull from Finmo” anytime to force an update manually.

Key Notes / Best Practices

  • Always ensure API + Zapier tokens are connected
  • Use Pull from Finmo for:
    • Missing deals
    • Manual updates
