How to add a stage to the mortgage process

Although we give you a number of stages inside of BluMortgage you have the freedom to change them to whatever you want! Please follow these steps to add or remove stages:

  1. Click on the gear icon (⚙️) located in the top right-hand corner.

  1. Under the "Customization" section, select "Modules and Fields."

  1. Hover over the Deals module (This could either be Mortgages or Opportunities) and click the three dots

  1. Click on the "Stage & Probability Mapping" option

  1. In the "Stage & Probability Mapping" section, review the existing stage names. If you want to remove a stage (e.g., "Additional Properties"), simply click the "Remove" or ( - )icon next to it.

  1. To add a new stage (e.g., "Renewals"), click the "Add" or ( + ) button. Specify the probability (e.g., 100%) and the outcome, such as "Closed Won."

  1. You can enable or disable color coding for picklist options based on your preference.

  1. After making the necessary edits, click the "Save" button to update your deal stages. Your changes will be reflected in your deals module.
